Project Magongo Maynera - Kenya
Project Magongo Maynera – Kenya is CareCoin’s 1st Humanitarian Project. The village of Magongo Maynera lies 18 miles southeast of Lake Victoria in the Country of Kenya. The village has around 500 citizens and 78 orphaned children. The goal for CareCoin, with this village, is to provide support to the orphans and villagers in 4 phases; Phase 1 consists of providing clothes for the children, approximately 100 mosquito nets for the children’s beds, as well as providing much-needed food supplies. Phase 2 consists of drilling a water borehole in order to build clean energy well, which includes installing a pump assembly and housing, well framing, and overhead structure, as well as installing and integrating solar-powered battery packs that will help to run the lift. The third phase is where we really start to ramp up…In phase three, we will build a village hospital! 1st we’ll establish contractors and supply chain costs for the project, then after all permits, licenses, and approvals have been given, we will begin the Groundbreaking of The Care Center; a local hospital for the Villagers that can attend to their needs locally. The third part of Phase 3 is to begin the buildout of the hospital building. The 4th part of Phase Three is to outfit the local school with desks, books, and teaching essentials. The 5th and final part of the 4th Phase is to partner with Doctors without Borders and have them come into the village at scheduled times to offer their services to the people of Magongo Maynera. Finally, Phase Four; Phase Four will be our most aggressive project in that we will build out the public infrastructure for the village, transforming it into a modern village/town, with all the technology, efficiency and access you would expect. Step 1 would be to establish contractors and supply chain for our costs. Secondly, we would build out the water/sewer system. 3rd step is to build out an electrical grid for the village. 4th step is to build a Solar Farm in order for the village to be able to provide its own energy.
